1. Hozier



In case you've been living under a rock for the past few months, this is Hozier, aka Andrew Hozier Byrne, the soulful Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter from Ireland. The video for his anthem-like debut single Take Me To Church, which depicted homophobic backlash against a young couple, went viral on YouTube notching up millions of views.
