LONDON — A church in London has cancelled a conference for "people who have struggled with same-sex attraction" after an online petition against it attracted 30,000 signatures.

The Holy Sexuality Conference, which was organised by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and scheduled to take place between April 21 and 25 at the Advent Centre in Edgware Road, was pulled Monday.
The event promised to help people to "overcome sexual habits" and was due to feature several speakers, including Mike Carducci, Wayne Blakeley and Danielle Harrison, offering "personal stories of how they found redemption, victory, healing and freedom from this lifestyle." Read more...
